Free Summer Event for Kids to Learn About Emergency and Health Care Services

Centennial Hills Hospital invites children of all ages to bring their favorite stuffed animal for a “check-up” at their Teddy Bear Clinic on Wednesday, August 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be located in the hospital’s Main Lobby.
The three-hour event will provide interactive, hands-on exhibits like the Teddy Bear First Aid Station, where kids discover how doctors and nurses care for patients and also learn how to be prepared if they were ever to need medical attention.
Other exhibits at the Teddy Bear Clinic will include the following:
- Finger Casting where children can have a cast put on their fingers or their teddy bear’s paw
- Move and Groove with Cardiac Rehab to keep your heart healthy—Kids will receive certificate after taking Teddy Heart Oath and receive heart deputy badge.
- Doctor Dress-Up station where kids can try on scrubs, surgical hats, and more
- Free Teddy Bear Snack Shack for nutritional, healthy and yummy snacks
- Baby Bear Nursery where your bear can be diapered and enjoy a sponge bath
- Staff from Mercy Air will be on hand providing kids tours of their helicopter on hospital helipad
- Staff from AMR, MedicWest, and Centennial YMCA will also be attending
- Free kids digital IDs will be provided by Steve Miller Insurance Agency
