<span style="font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">The Southern Nevada Hispanic Employment Program (SNHEP) Youth Council and the National Latino Peace Officers Association (NLPOA) are holding a free car show followed by an evening of laughter – all to benefit college scholarships for local students. Scholarships will be awarded at the annual SNHEP conference at Texas Station on July 14th. <br />

The Car Show will be held this Saturday, May 1st at the Palace Station Casino located at 2411 West Sahara Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89102 from 10:00am to 6:00pm in the South Parking Lot. The event is open and free to the public of all ages and will offer live entertainment, food, vendors, and raffles. Anyone that is interested in competing in the car show will pay a small registration fee of $25.00 prior to the event date and $35.00 at the door. Various trophies and awards will be awarded to cars that are the Best In Show, Best Body Paint, Best Interior and many more. <br />

The Youth Council will be collecting “Community Change” for Education! Bring your change to the car show to help fill a 5 gallon water bottle with community pocket change to benefit scholarships.<br />

Laughter for Education in the Palace Station Bonkerz Comedy Club at 8:30 p.m. featuring Tim O’Rourke - Only $19.99 with proceeds to benefit scholarships for local students. <br />
