Founded in 2002 as the first, four-year state college in Nevada, Nevada State College (NSC) offers more than 45 majors and minors leading to a bachelors degree. NSC’s main 509-acre campus is located in the southeast corner of Henderson, Nevada, with a satellite campus located in the heart of Henderson’s Water Street District. As of 2016, there are more than 3,500 undergraduates and nearly 120 full-time faculty and staff. Academic units include the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the School of Education and the School of Nursing. In every field of study, classes are taught by experienced faculty who serve as mentors and guides.
