The Eyesite of Anthem is a premiere eye care facility located in southern Nevada. Our office is dedicated to providing excellence in patient care, clinical education, and optical services.
Dr. McCandless and Dr. Nguyen are leaders in clinical eye care involving eye and vision disorders. We provide the highest quality lenses, frames and contact lenses to solve the vision needs of our patients. We look forward to meeting you and taking care of your vision needs.
Hong Nguyen, O.D. - Dr. Nguyen, who recently moved to Las Vegas from California, received her bachelor's degree in Business Management from Tulane University and her doctor of optometry (O.D.) degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton. She has a special interest in ocular diseases, with a focus on glaucoma.
Dr. K.C. McCandless-After graduating from Brigham Young University, Dr. McCandless attended The Ohio State University College of Optometry where he graduated with honors in 2006. While attending Ohio State, he received the community outreach award for clinical excellence. He is a member of the Nevada Optometric Association as well as the American Optometric Association. He has served as the director of refractive surgery while at Wellish Vision Institute. Since 2006 he has been an adjunct clinical instructor where he has helped prepare fourth year optometry students in their externship from the Southern California College of Optometry.During his free time, he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and playing racquetball and basketball.
