October 22, 2010 — Las Vegas, NV — Highlighting the fact that restaurants truly are the cornerstones of the community, Nevada’s culinary industry was out in force Oct. 21 to help honor their peers at the Nevada Restaurant Association’s 2010 Culinary Excellence Awards Gala held at the Las Vegas Country Club.<br />

“These awards are very important because we understand how crucial it is for all aspects of the industry to work together and to speak with a unified voice,” said NvRA President & CEO Katherine Jacobi. “We are pleased to have the opportunity to recognize some of the most deserving individuals and companies. Husband and wife duo, News Anchor Gerald Ramalho from My News 3 and News Reporter Elizabeth Watts from Fox 5 served as the masters of ceremony and Nevada State Treasurer Kate Marshall presented awards to outstanding individuals in five categories.
